What is
Digital Nomad Visa?

Taiwan introduced a Digital Nomad Visa on January 1, 2025, allowing remote workers to stay in the country for up to 180 days.

Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship from a country that has visa-exempt status with Taiwan.
Meet one of these conditions:

Proof of holding a digital nomad visa from another country.

For ages 30 and above: Annual income of at least US$40,000 in the past two years.
For ages 20 to 29: Annual income of at least US$20,000 in the past two years.

Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship from a country that has visa-exempt status with Taiwan.
Meet one of these conditions:

Proof of holding a digital nomad visa from another country.

For ages 30 and above: Annual income of at least US$40,000 in the past two years.

Two identical color passport photos (45 mm in height and 35 mm in width)
Passport (original and photocopy)
Proof of remote work experience
Proof of meeting one of the above mentioned eligibility criteria
Proof of bank deposits over the last six months
Proof of international health insurance
